How to Promote Your Business at a Glance

I have noticed that as we are adding members it is difficult by first glance to tell which business(es) your associated with. My solution (as I had to do the same for myself) is to update your profile page to add your business name. Here's how:

Go to My Page
Click on Settings (on the upper right portion of the screen)
Insert your business name after your FULL NAME

Jessica Skinner -------->>>>> Jessica Skinner - Athens Realty

Now, other members will be able to see your business association at first glance of the members list. If you have questions - as always - feel free to contact me at 740-630-8377 or jessica@athens-realty.com

Thaks for the tip- apparently we're limited to the # of characters in the name, I had to scrunch mine together to get it all in, but it still works.

I have noticed a couple people shortened their name. For instance, Career Connections K. Chesser.

The SEO B2B network is getting significant traffic (over 800 hits this week alone). One goal of the network is to get the Google, Yahoo and all the other major search engines to see us as a directory for local businesses. The bots (software search engines use) will follow your site from your members pages. The bots will recognize your sites as part of the network and help your rankings.
