Appointments Recommended!
HEAP Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Program Begins November 2nd 2009 Ends March 31st 2010

Documentation Required When Applying:
* Social Security CARDS for all members in household.
* Birth Certificate for primary household member; or other proof of U.S. Citizenship
* 90 days proof of income
Note: Income verification must be presented for EVERY application with Community Action. We do not save information from prior applications.
- Weekly Pay – 13 Pay Stubs
- Bi-weekly Pay – 7 Pay Stubs
- Fixed Income – Award Letter,
Copy of Check, or Bank Statemen (If you do not have verification, you may need to contact Social Security, Job & Family Services or your employer to get verification – we can NOT do this at the time of your appointment.)
* Electric Bill
* Gas Bill/Fuel Provider with account number (if applicable)
If you are requesting assistance with bulk fuel, wood or coal, you must have less than a 10 day supply. You will also need your electric bill.

Hi Olivia! Thanks for joining. I'd love for you to post details on some of the programs offered through Community Action (for instance HEAP since winter is here). Would you be willing to do that? Also, add a profile picture as well to help put a business association and member as one entity. Bob Garbo - are you in communication with him very often? Maybe he too would be interested in joining. Some new members are beginning their own groups and then inviting their staff to join it. This way they can share details about dates, events, changes/updates, etc. Since it is directed towards businesses only - they don't have to worry about SPAM and junk like that. If you need help with approaching others, let me know. Also, we can add your mom and cousin (was that right?) for their specific businesses. The ferrier service would be a nice addition.

HEAP (HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM)
-A federally funded program designed to help eligible Ohioans meet the rising cost of home heating this winter.

ELIGIBILITY
-A household whose total income is at or below 200 percent of the 2009 federal poverty guidelines may be eligible. Guidelines are listed below:

SIZE OF HOUSEHOLD
1 person-$21,660.00
2 persons-$29,140.00
3 persons-$36,620.00
4 persons-$44,100.00
5 persons-$51,580.00
6 persons-$59,060.00
7 persons-$66,540.00
8 persons-$74,020.00

-For households with more than eight members, add $7,480 for each individual.
