My name is Ellen Ball. Some of you know me already but some of you I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet. I am one of the volunteers that assists the SEOB2B members with Internet questions and simple solutions that they need. For example, do you need help with e-mail or help editing photographs? Do you have a website and don't know quite what to do with it? Or no site at all and believe a simple site is how you would like to start? …

On this crisp cool autumn evening, I am happily blogging from the home of Lisa Eiselstein and Derek Mills of the Four Seasons Cabin Rentals of the Hocking Hills and The Traveling Chapel. She and I are exploring the Southeastern Ohio Business to Business Network. Lisa is busily updating her page introducing the Four Seasons Cabins of the Hocking Hills. She will soon be adding a profile for the…

We had the health dept inspect us this past Friday. Fruits and veggies are okay, and baked goods are okay as long as you label them per regulations, but if you want to sell a couple dozen eggs at a market, you need a retail food establishment license, which is $125 or maybe $142, no one was sure. And your flock has to be inspected by the USDA, which they do for FREE! So no eggs at our market for now. But come by Fridays 4-6 pm, at the park across the street from Kroger in Trimble, and try…

Talking to one of the owners of Brew Du Soleil today (it is a small world), I discovered that they don't just sell coffee, but also iced teas flavored with their homemade organic syrups. So since I had to go over to E State this afternoon anyhow, I stopped in and got a strawberry flavored iced tea. It's really really good- it isn't the heavy syrup you get at Bob Evans, but a light, almost flowery flavor. Peach, raspberry and lavender are are on my list to try, not necessarily in that…

Aren't the redbud trees just gorgeous, all of state route 78 from my baitshop almost into Mcconnelsville is lined with them. Makes it easy to forget the snows of February. It is definitely fishing season! I sold out my first three pounds of minnows in just a few days. I don't know if I'm doing something right, or if I've just been lucky so far, but minnow deaths have been low so far. I discovered the hard way that bass minnows don't fare so well in the bait machine- they're bigger than…

It appears that we've been--I don't know the correct term, but invaded comes to mind. I'm sure the blog post just before mine is not from one of our subscribers, and it doesn't belong here. There's probably a way for me to let the admnistrator know, but he'll spot it soon.
Even tho the sky is overcast, gloomy and all those other adjectives, and the ground is covered with fresh snow, it's definitely a little warmer out, and you can feel the thaw coming. The birds are positive spring is…
