Picture manager in Microsoft Office under Microsoft Office tools has a simple resize tool. Once you have a picture up click on edit pictures and you will see a resize button. You can click on any size and resize. If you want to keep the original then just name the new resized pictures something. If you come to the training on the 17th we would be then happy to show you with any other questions.

One easy way, if you are in the Windows world, is the application paint. If you load a picture in to Paint and than do a Save as file save it will save it as a smaller, ie few bytes, file. Most picture application have a resize function some where so that you can resize the photo by a certain percentage, example is Microsoft's photo manager. If you are in the Mac world I have no suggestions.
